History of The Pursuit
- May 19, 2003 • Paul believes that God wants Him to plant a church somewhere!
- Jul. 8, 2003 • Paul and Angela visit Boise for the first time, believing that God has chosen this city to begin The Pursuit.
- Oct. 25, 2003 • The Hatfield family arrives in Boise.
- Dec. 14, 2003 • The Pursuit “unofficially” begins as a small Bible study with 18 people in the Hatfield’s living room.
- Easter 2004 • The Pursuit meets in the backyard of the Hatfield’s and 68 people attend!
- Jul. 4, 2004 • The Pursuit begins meeting in the Hatfield’s garage for the summer.
- Oct. 17, 2004 • The Pursuit meets for the first time at the Reel Theatre to begin preparations for the public launch.
- Dec. 12, 2004 • The Pursuit officially launches with one service.
- Easter 2005 • 225 people in attendance (weekly average is 150)
- Sept. 4, 2005 • The Pursuit moves to two services.
- Easter 2006 • 515 people in attendance (weekly average is 325)
- Jun. 2007 • The Pursuit leaves the theatre and moves to Borah High School.
- Dec. 2007 • The Pursuit meets in four different locations for the five Sundays, finally landing at their first permanent space on Discovery Way in West Boise.
- Easter 2008 • 900 people in attendance (weekly average is 650)
- Apr. 8, 2008 • The Pursuit launches its first P.M. service on Sunday nights
- Mar. 1, 2009 • The Pursuit adds a second P.M. service
- Easter 2009 • 1600 people in attendance (weekly average is 1200)
